Dave Cahill
Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Engineer
I began playing music when I was young and got my very first 4 track when I was 13. I have written & recorded 5 albums of my own music. "Slander" ©2002, "Quiver, Reader" ©2003, "The Huddled Masses" © 2006, "Fascists to Ashes" ©2007 and "HOPE-NOSIS" ©2009. I have been lucky to work with many talented musicians on these recordings including: Rich Cahill, Myke Tarlazzi, Ryan Decker, Andy Waldeck, Alex Radus, Jessica Teich, Alex Bryant, Gabe Perry, Jeff D'Amore, Nate Powell and many more. The musicianship on the albums are quite impressive and songs are dynamic and detailed. Aside from loving to write and record, I also enjoy performing live.
I Perform solo acoustic using live looping technology, singing songs about love and war, and implementing an agressive, yet melodic nature to the songs. A heavy attack on the acoustic, and intricate experimentation throughout.
I am also in a 3-piece gypsy prog rock band called THE ALMIGHTY TERRIBLES. Our bio describes us as "A sophisticated, eclectic mix of high energy rock, fused together with jazz, punk and experimentation. Combining soul, funk, heavy and distorted guitar riffage, and stylized vocals into an upbeat mass of solid rock." We have a lot of fun, and we like to keep things interesting. Our fans are incredible people and our shows are always unique. Check out our two albums, "Fascists to Ashes" ©2008 & "Hope-nosis" ©2009.
