I've had a lot going on recently...
Myke Tarlazzi and I have a band called, THE ALMIGHTY TERRIBLES and we have completedg our new album "Fascists to Ashes" for a tentative April release. The album was engineered by Shahn Wilson and produced by The Almighty Terribles & Shahn Wilson. I am really excited for this, we worked really hard to produce one powerful piece of music that we hope to find your ears very soon.
We have added our old Jeff D'Amore to the band lineup, he will be playing drums with us. Jeff adds a lot of energy to our band and we are happy to have him aboard.
I must mention how unbelievable Myke is on this album. He performed but drums and bass on the songs. He really came up with some unbelievable things for this record. Drummers and bassists out there, you will love the concrete solidness of his playing.
Also featured on our new album is Andy Waldeck who lends his incredible talents to "Where I Belong", a soulful 50's style ballad. It is always incredible to be able to work with Andy, I always learn something new.
Finally, Alex Radus is featured on backup vocals on the album. Although as of today, we have not recorded his parts, we did record earlier demos with Alex on some of the songs and they sounded brilliant. Alex always comes up with superb melodies and has this voice that can only be described as Almighty. The guy can really sing, but you already knew that.
"Fascists to Ashes" was recorded in the Poconos, PA. We began recording in July 2007, but due to a giant coffee spill, we lost all of it. Sure, it was devastating, however, we started right over again. What we have now is something unexplainable. We have really fine tuned the songs and are ready to put it out as soon as it's complete.
