“8AM”

Woke up in the morning, early 8am. A girl was knocking loudly, on my window. Walk around the city, busy day ahead. A sign says to walk, but there’s no people.

Air is getting heavy, too thick to breath. Two cops started fighting and arrested each other. Think about the damage a little lie can cause. I don’t think you’re being, honest with me.

Am I dreaming? Am I sleeping well? Where are you going? I hope that I can live to tell…

I can tell you’re boring by the way you dress. Your polar bear sweaters, when it’s warm out. What if everybody really tried their best? The rest of the people will be watching TV.

Take another photo for your fake ID. I know what you’re doing, and who you’re friends with. Borrow twenty dollars for your rent next week. Next month, you’ll be thinking ’bout, where to steal it.

Am I dreaming? Am I sleeping well? Where are you going? I hope that I can live to tell…

Dark clouds, moving in. You better put on your coat. Take back our government, Before they put you away…. put you away….put you away…. they’ll put you away…

Am I dreaming? Am I sleeping well? Where are you going? I hope that I can live to tell…

“PINK SHOES”

Grey roads, and the homes popping up around them. They hold, just about, everyone in town. Dull walls, and the bars blocking off the windows. Get out, while you’re young, and still have a chance.

Now, run, run, run away… Don’t stop, until I say…and… This, will, test your faith… Now run, run, run away….

Pink shoes, and the names that come with you in them. Just watch, and believe everything you’re told. Time stops…but the world keeps spinning, all around me. Not cool, when you’re already out of breath…now…

Now, run, run, run away… Don’t stop, until I say…and… This, will, test your faith… Now run, run, run away….

Hold on, don’t let go, it’s just a little longer. Last call, get your fill before the night is over. Can’t wait, for the days we get to spend together. With my luck, it’s be gone before we have a chance…now…

Now, run, run, run away… Don’t stop, until I say…and… This, will, test your faith… Now run, run, run away….

Pink shoes, and the names that come with you in them. Just watch, and believe everything you’re told. Time stops…

“BOMB IN THE BEDROOM”

Tax me, rob me, take my money. Use it to pay, off the debt, from the war. Watch me, track me, trace my identity. They know, where I’ll be, before I even get there.

But how? But what then? When will this ever end? Do you know what I mean? Have you seen what I’ve seen?

Chip me, pill me, just fucking kill me. They make us sick, and we pay, for the cure.

Open your eyes, what do you see? I have visions,I have nightmares. Christian man, full of sin, living in, Washington, at home, with… a bomb in the bedroom.

Pick her, choose him, you will elect them. They count the votes and they own the machines. Take me, make me, use my abilities. Ship me somewhere, so that I can be useful.

But why? But what if? What if I don’t survive? What will you tell my mom? What will she tell my dad?

I’ll be waiting, for eternity. The day you die, is the day that you realize.

Open your eyes, what do you see? I have visions,I have nightmares. Christian man, full of sin, living in, Washington, at home, with… a bomb in the bedroom.

We need a solution, there’s gotta be one out here. Is this an illusion? Then why don’t more of you, care…to…care?

Open your eyes, what do you see? I have visions,I have nightmares. Christian man, full of sin, living in, Washington, at home, with… a bomb in the bedroom.

Christian man, full of sin, living in, Washington, at home, with… a bomb in the bedroom.

Christian man, full of sin, living in, Washington, at home, with… a bomb in the bedroom.

“WHERE I BELONG”

There’s a place, that I go, will you join me? I need to get myself out of this place. Take a chance, with me, you won’t be sorry. I’ll show you things, you never thought could exist.

Believe me, deceive me, you will end up like the others. Inspect me, resurrect me, bring me back to where I belong, home.

What if we could fly? Where would we go? And how long before we get to the end of the night? Step around, the side…aAnd don’t take pictures. And make sure you turn off the bedroom light.

Believe me, deceive me, you will end up like the others. Inspect me, resurrect me, bring me back to where I belong, home.

“WAR”

War, what is it good for? War, who is it made for? Lies, fill up their heads with lies. Lies, the TV hypnotize…

Is this your way of being afraid? Are you waiting for a place to hide?

Dead, millions and millions slain. Dead, while the oil men get paid. TV, molding your opinion. TV, it’s a great demon.

Is this your way of being afraid? Are you waiting for a place to hide?

You are wrong, if you support war. You are blind, if you support war. They are rich, those who create war. We are slaves…and we fight the war.

Is this…. …your way?

Is this your way of being afraid? Are you waiting for a place to hide?

Is this your way of being afraid? Are you waiting for a place to hide?

“GET UPSET & GET INVOLVED”

Shake my hand, please to meet you. Let me tell you about things that bother me. Why can’t we, get along as people? I don’t know what all the conflict is about.

Grab my things, it’s time to go now. I don’t think that I can stay here anymore. Shake my head, it’s time to listen. This is rebel music… Get upset and get involved…

Get upset and get involved… Get upset and get involved…

Bat your eyes, seduce your victim. Pump them full of fear and sell them slavery. It’s my time, I’m off to war now. This is the day that I hoped would never come.

So many gone, much more to come now. Would you send your son or would you send your neighbors child? Shake my head, it’s time to listen. This is rebel music… Get upset and get involved…

Get upset and get involved… Get upset and get involved…

Get upset and get involved… Get upset and get involved…

“YOU SAID”

You said, to stay in school, but you really didn’t think I’d stay…and, You think, that you’re out of tune, but you really don’t know how to play.

Is this a sign? Are you for real? Is there something there? Something that makes you not care, not care about me.

You think, that you’re out of touch, with the things people do and say…and, You think, that there is a God, but I think it might be too late to pray.

Is this a sign? Are you for real? Is there something there? Something that makes you not care, not care about me.

“BIG BROTHER”

Big big brother, why do you watch me when I sleep? Tuck me in, caress my skin, he knows, what I will dream. I use my fingerprint, to buy my groceries, at the store. Watch my car, drive down the road, he knows where I will go.

The criminals are watching us… They keep an eye on everywhere we go… how could this happen? How much can we endure?

Twelve monkeys at your door… This is nineteen eighty four.

Tax collector, show me the law! Tax resistor, we’re gonna win this war. Tanks driving into town, emergency is declared. Do you think you’re really free? You don’t know what free means…

The criminals are watching us… They keep an eye on everywhere we go… how could this happen? How much can we endure?

Twelve monkeys at your door… This is nineteen eighty four.

Twelve monkeys at your door… This is nineteen eighty four.

“CRUCIFY”

Don’t scan my mind. There’s nothing in there for you. It makes me want to cry.

Don’t monitor me. I can feel your eyes behind me. There are so many out there.

Has life, become, something that needs explaining? Foretold, in stone, your fate is their misfortune.

Don’t crucify me, don’t hang me in your alter. Don’t crucify me, I know more then you realize, open shut eyes, you’re awake now.

Don’t read my file. It is not there to please you. It is sealed for a reason.

Don’t hear us speak. Our words are sure to harm you. You can’t silence us.

Has life, become, something that needs explaining? Foretold, in stone, your fate is their misfortune.

Don’t crucify me, don’t hang me in your alter. Don’t crucify me, I know more then you realize, open shut eyes, you’re awake now.

“CLOUD DOOR”

I can’t believe, that this is really happening. I can’t believe, that we’re almost out of time. What’s make believe, when you’re living in a fantasy? What makes you think, that you are the only one?

Uh oh, I know, where is it, it’s not here? Life is just a movie, coming out on Tuesday, don’t forget your popcorn. Oh no, don’t go, don’t leave, it’s not done. Life can be amazing, terrible or crazy, but, don’t expect a rerun…

No…Is this the ending? No…It’s the beginning? No…So unexpected…Yea… Death takes you by surprise.

I seem to lack, a reason to get on with it. I get attacked, for speaking out of turn. We’ll fade to black, while browsing through a magazine. Some will collapse, while talking on the phone.

Let’s go, you know, how is it we’re still here? Don’t mean to be complaining, sorry that it’s raining, don’t forget your raincoat. I’m sore, and I’m poor, isn’t that what God is for? Pray to get a raise, and think that you’ll be saved, but, don’t expect a cloud door…

No…Is this the ending? No…It’s the beginning? No…So unexpected…Yea… Death takes you by surprise.

I can’t believe, that this is really happening. I can’t believe, that we’re almost out of time. What’s make believe, when you’re living in a fantasy? What makes you think, that you are the only…
